A poll of Observer and Guardian readers in the UK has voted Jet2.com as the best short-haul airline in the UK. The airline has received the accolade for the 3rd year running. The airline also scoped 2nd prize for best short-haul airline in Europe juts behind the German airline Lufthansa.
Jet2.com beat off competition from airlines such as Ryanair (15th) and Easyjet (9th). This is the twenty second year the awards have been running and are considered to be one of the top travel awards around.
Over seventeen thousand cast their vote in the awards. The presentation of the awards took place in Fes – Morocco. Claire Flynn attended the awards representing Jet2.com. She spoke of the hard work and dedication of Jet2.com staff members and how the award was achieved by all workers.
